The Institut français promotes cross-cultural programming between the City of Paris and the City of Amsterdam as part of the “Paris-Amsterdam Rendez-vous 2019”, thus helping to deepen the dialogue between the two capital
The projects created as part of the the "Paris-Amsterdam Rendez-vous 2019" are the result of collaboration between the following institutions in Paris and Amsterdam: Théâtre de la Ville + Internationaal Theater Amsterdam (ITA), Paris Workshops + Bureau Broedplaatsen d'Amsterdam in the creative industry and design sector, as well as Bibliocité (Paris), the Oba Library and the Dutch Foundation for Literature
On 15th June 2019, on the banks of the Seine, the Paris programme will take place with, notably, a space for literature organised by Bibliocité around Dutch children’s books where audiences can attend readings.
“Paris-Amsterdam Rendez-vous 2019" is presented by the City of Paris, the City of Amsterdam and the Institut Français. It is supported by the Embassy of France in the Netherlands, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in France, amsterdam&partners and all of its participants.
